Celebrations and special offers at Petals Hair and Beauty - Hair Salon of the Year

Special offers and customer discounts for a limited time only are now available at Petals Hair and Beauty Salons in both Castlebar and Westport, as part of celebrations to mark the recent selection of Petals as the 2018 Hair Salon of the Year.

After beating off stiff competition to make it through as one of ten regional finalists, Petals was announced as the overall winner and presented with the award of Hair Salon of the Year at the high-glamour Irish Hair and Beauty Awards held in Dublin on September 9 last.

Petals Hair and Beauty has been providing hair, make-up, beauty and barbering services from its flagship salon in Westport for over 25 years and also at Petals Aveda salon in Castlebar, which opened to great success in 2015.

At Petals the goal has always been to offer a relaxing and enjoyable experience to clients while catering to their hair and beauty needs and proof that the salon continues to fulfill this ambition is evident from its loyal clientele built up over the years, as well as its growing fan-base and recognition outside of Mayo.

Welcoming the award, Joan Rowland, MD of Petals, paid tribute to her hard-working team of talented staff and to all those who supported the salon with kind testimonials and positive feedback.

Established in 1993, Petals initial focus was on the provision of luxury skincare and later, top end hair care. Its breathtaking modern, expansive, monochrome design flagship premises in the centre of Westport town, next to the famous Matt Molloy’s pub on Bridge Street, is a huge hit with customers who enjoy its high class modern décor and top-to-toe pampering.

Similarly, appreciation for its centrally located Petals Aveda Salon next to Dunnes in Castlebar has also been acknowledged publicly, with Petals winning the ‘Client Experience Award’ by Phorest Salon Software, which recorded glowing reviews from customers all over Ireland during 2017.

Even having your hair washed at Petals is a sumptuous treat, as clients get to enjoy reclining chairs, vibrating back massage pads, high end hair-care brand products and complimentary head massages during treatment.

Luxury beauty ranges available at Petals include Aveda, Olaplex and Voya with in-salon treatments also offering Clarins, Dermalogica, Yonka, Voya and Cailyn makeup, with the men’s range also available in-store. For hair, L’Oreal and Kerastase is also much in demand.

FAMILY SALON WITH HIGHLY TRAINED STAFF

With close to 30 staff and Joan Rowland and her three daughters Katie, Jenny and Aoife all involved in the business, alongside the many staff who have been there through thick and thin over the years, it is no wonder Petals is now considered very much a family business where clients are personally known and warmly welcomed and their needs catered to.
